The Interpreters
The teachings and resources on AramaicJesus.org are drawn from the work of four remarkable interpreters — each bringing their own gifts to the task of recovering the Aramaic words of Yeshua (Jesus) for personal awakening and world peace.
Tomas Meyers
Poet, songwriter, and spiritual interpreter of the Aramaic tradition. Tomas brought the ancient words of Jesus to life through luminous poetry and song. His works include Spun Wonderment, Aha! and Amen, and the audio albums Seedlings and Gleanings and Becoming Peace.
Rachmana
Founder of AramaicJesus.org, teacher, chanter, and interpreter. Rachmana’s lifelong spiritual journey — from church pews to yogic ashrams to the Dances of Universal Peace — led her to the Aramaic Yeshua. She is the guiding voice of this site and co-creator of its audio recordings and interpretive writings.
Dr. Rocco Errico
Aramaic scholar, author, and founder of the Noohra Foundation. A student of Dr. George Lamsa, Errico has dedicated his life to uncovering the Semitic roots of Jesus’ teachings with infectious enthusiasm and warmth.
Dr. George Lamsa
Pioneering Aramaic Bible translator (1892–1975). Born in Assyria where Aramaic was still spoken, Lamsa translated the Peshitta into English and revealed how many familiar biblical passages had been misunderstood through centuries of Greek and Latin translation.
